What does a hand-built website mean?
A hand-built website is designed and coded specifically for your business instead of being assembled from a page builder or a bought theme. That sounds like a detail, but it changes three things you notice every day. First, speed: there is no layer of plugins and unused scripts, so pages load quickly – on mobile and for Google. Second, findability: page structure, headings and structured data are planned from the start instead of being bolted on afterwards. Third, ownership: you get the source code and all files and can host the site wherever you like. The design starts from your content and your customers, not from a template, so every page leads visitors to the one thing you want them to do – usually getting in touch.

Is this for you?
A good fit – and when it isn't.
A good fit if …
- You need a company site or landing page that looks like you, not like a template
- Your current site is slow, hard to update or hardly brings in enquiries
- You would rather own the code than rent a page-builder subscription
- Being found on Google and in AI search matters to you
Not the right fit if …
- You want to rebuild your pages yourself in a drag-and-drop editor every day
- You need an online shop with a large product range – a shop platform such as Shopify is usually the better choice

FAQ
Questions that come up a lot.
What does a website cost?
It depends on the number of pages, the content and any connections such as bookings or payments. After a short first call you get a concrete quote for your project, so you know the cost before any work starts.
Who owns the website?
You do. With a one-off project you receive the complete source code and all files and can move the site to any host. If you would rather not deal with hosting, I can run and maintain it for you instead.
Can I change content myself?
We settle that before the build: either I take care of changes for you, or the site is set up so that you can edit the content you need to change regularly.
Will my website be found on Google?
Every site comes with the technical basics in place: clean structure, fast loading, meta data, structured data and a sitemap. Rankings also depend on your content and your competition, so nobody can honestly promise positions. The SEO & GEO audit goes deeper if you need more.
Which technology do you use?
Whatever fits the project: static HTML for simple, very fast sites, PHP when content or forms need a backend, Next.js for app-like sites. I explain the choice, and it is always something another developer can take over.
